My after-game forum comments:
In the end we were beaten by a more talented Kidderminster team who were considerably more kinetic than us and deserved their victory. That's not to say it was a train wreck performance - I thought that the team were quite well drilled in defence yesterday apart from the first goal when porky pig Ryan Rowe's fortuitous looping shot deflected in off the post - he should have been closed down well before the trigger was pulled. The guys tried hard and were full of running and they did have a number of half chances in the first half, but on the whole they looked ponderous and predictable and it was rare there was an obvious 'out' ball, although there was so good movement down the right from Sean McConville.

I expected us to be steamrollered in the second half, but again we had some good, albeit toothless, possession. With the clock ticking and the situation becoming more desperate Owen was sacrificed for Danny Rowe with Rutherford moving into midfield. That had an immediate effect and Harriers were well and truly on the ropes for a purple spell of about 10 minutes, and we shredded them twice. On one of those occasions McConville's shot was luckily cleared off the line by Marouane Fellaini who had signed for the day from Everton. See video footage below.

Unfortunately any steel in midfield disappeared with the Rutherford move to midfield and Kidderminster quickly got back into their stride. It was no surprise when they got their second although Danny Hurst could've maybe done better, having got a hand to it.

Jackson was introduced way too late to make a difference and that was that.
