My after-game forum comments:
I thought it was an excellent performance today and we were definitely robbed at the death.

The first half was an object lesson in how to keep hold of the ball, but despite having the lion's share of the possession, Nuneaton came closest and Rutherford was required to clear off the line. We passed the ball around in intricate patterns and there was some good movement but no killer ball and we looked a little impotent.

The second half was much better with more tempo and it was no surprise when Boyes combined with Rowe for him to flick the ball past Smith in goal for Nuneaton. Rowe had only just come on in a double substitution with Jackson for McConville (looking barely adequate) and Almond (being kept fresh for next week?) so it was an immediate impact.

Boyes was clearly pushed in the area when he had a free header and was rightly awarded a penalty kick which was a somewhat tame effort at an easily saveable height. Jackson then combined with Rowe who fired against the post with the goalkeeper static.

The game looked to be heading for a certain victory, but the referee decided there was 4mins additional time. God knows where that came from since the physios were never on the pitch and there were no yellow cards in the 2nd half. Despite this, and this is unprecedented in all my years supporting Barrow, I genuinely didn't think Nuneaton would score in a trillion years. As such I was daydreaming, watching the crowd, looking out for crowd totty and I totally missed the equaliser. So I can't comment on it, but it did plunge me into an immediate bad mood.

All told, I think we're beginning to look like a top half team believe it or not, and it's a crushing shame it took us 10 games to get going in this league.
